The rims of these clay pots were decorated using broken china. They were attached using the same method as tilers use. There is plenty of advice online, or ask you local tile or hardware shop.

The 'tiling' does not go completely around the rim. A space has been left at the back to allow the pot to fit into a Leylandlatch.
